Steam distilled from the bud of the plant, clove bud is a fragrant, woodsy herb.  While most people associate the herb with cooking it's also popular in perfumery & various medicinal practices.  Analgesic anthelmintic, antibacterial and antifungal, clove bud is multi-purpose, including helping to ease viral skin infections.  Best blended with bay, bergamont, cardamom, lavendar, or citrus essential oils such sweet orange or litsea cubeba.
